Summary

Division, separation, and polarization. It’s reaching incredible heights right now. I see it everywhere and the Bible warns us about it. The question is — are we listening? Division weakens us by making us collectively ineffective in facing the complex challenges in life. Division injures us as a nation by undermining our ability to embrace shared values, and separation will kill us by driving more and more people into isolation—on the other side of the great political and spiritual divide. Jesus spoke against this. And so should we. Look for leaders who will unite, not divide. The hour is late—there is work to be done!
