But we're going to be talking about permaculture, ecological design, and homestead design,

but from the lens of what does that look like prior to during and after societal collapse?

And I've actually named today's show Permaculture for the Long Emergency.

The Long Emergency is

somebody else's terminology. It's been around a while.

I think that's Neil, I can't remember his name now,

an author that wrote a book that talked about the Long Emergency,

but I think it's fitting for today.

And I'm going to be interested to see what Daniel has to say about it because I have over

time watching this space, been in this space, you know, full time as a professional, 18 years.

And at one time, I thought we would have like this train wreck, like overnight.

Everything seems okay, at least to the people not paying attention,

and then it's just, you know, dissolved in a couple weeks or something like that.

A TV-type catastrophe, and over the years, I've changed my view on that.

I see us more as like, when's the collapse happening?
