0:16.0

And welcome back. And the last podcast, it was a little bit of a weird noise. So, you know, sorry for that.

0:22.0

Time for a new mic. And Gaia forgot to add the intro. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I forgot to add the intro.

0:28.0

I'll go in and fix it today, but I didn't even realize it till right now. So I wait. I didn't add the intro.

0:33.0

Anyways, in this episode, wanted to talk about something very, very important that people get uncomfortable talking about, which I thought was surprising.

0:42.0

And presenting the star of the episode, the voice of the episode, the star once again, Kayla Swartz.

0:52.0

Yes, Kayla. Kayla. So you're a girl. Yeah. Also, I'm a little sick. So if I sound weird, that's why. If I sound the same, then just my voice.

1:03.0

Kayla, you're a girl. Yes. What's that like? I mean, it's okay. I mean, I prefer it. You prefer it. Yeah. But right now, like I don't prefer it right now, but I prefer it in general.

1:19.0

I'm your favorite right now. Because I'm on my period. Yeah. Does that get you sick? No. No, I don't think so. Does it make your immune system weaker than usual? No, I'll stick beforehand.

1:30.0

Wait, yes. That's not what I want to talk about. Let's talk about periods, periods, menstruation cycles. Yes. When you bleed out of your koochi. So what's that like?

1:41.0

Could you go a little into death about periods in what that is? What do you think? So in middle school, I had really bad cramps like like really, really bad.

1:53.0

I couldn't go to school. It was just unbearable. Really? It was really bad. Where? What do you mean where? Like what part of your body? If that's like my stomach and my back.

2:05.0

Wow. You're bad? Yeah. Like my lower back. It's like your muscle, right? The cramps? Is it like a muscle cramp? I don't know. It just hurts. It's a lot. I guess. That's what they call like cramps. Yeah. Yeah. So basically, I would just have to stay home and I would just be home crying.

2:21.0

Literally, I'll just be there laying down and then like, I'll call my mom, like, my, like, can you lay down with me?

2:27.0

I would just lay down until I go to sleep and then I wake up and then usually I would feel better.

2:33.0

And those few hours of pain were just like excruciating. I couldn't move. It was bad.

2:39.0

So it seems like it's like a muscle cramp. You know, like when I get a cramp on my, a cramp on my calf. I don't, if you want to compare it to that.

2:47.0

I mean, have you ever got one? Yeah, I have. Does it feel like that? Does it? That's worse? Really? It's worse for me at least.

2:55.0

Plus it's longer. Yeah. Oh, that seems terrible. Like no, no position I would lay down and would like soothe it. So I was just like, like, laying down. Just, how long would it last? Like for each, like, session.

3:07.0

Session. Or like in one and one and one and a half. I'm session later. I mean, the cramps is just the day it starts for me.

3:15.0

Because I know for some girls, like, they get, like, some girls that get cramps, like the whole week. Or like for the entire 10, they have it or some don't have a met-all.
