I know I'm not the only person who has struggled with perfectionism, with this idea of I need to be enough and do enough in order for God to think I'm enough.

But what if that is not actually true?

What if Christ has done it?

He has won it.

And because of him and in him, we are enough.

Bethany Broderick, here on the podcast with me, because we're going to be talking about her new book

that came out a couple of weeks ago. And it's called Perfected, Trading Shame and Striving for

Wholeness in Christ. And if y'all know anything about me,

that is the story of my life. And she wrote it in a book. So having been able to read it,

and now have her on here to talk about it is such a sweet treat for me. And I know based off

of the comments that I get from you, all the DMs I get

from you all, the emails I get from you all, that this is something that is also near and dear

and even a struggle for some of us. So I'm excited to have Bethany on. Bethany, welcome to the podcast.
