Welcome to the Bronx Pinscript show.

Today we're going to talk about positive and negatives from the Cubs series.

A little beef, a little beef action between some broadcasters on the S broadcast.

And Nestor's comments.

And I'm being moved to the pen.

Scott, I think that's what you meant last episode when you set the tone for the pod.

I'm very proud of you for going back and actually reading the thing.

That's good.

Yeah.

And the biggest piece of this is that all of that culminated in a series win for the New York Yankees.

First time since, I don't know, too many, too many series ago. So good things. So are you buying into the, well, they just can't beat bad teams because they lost the series to the Nats and the Rangers and the Cardinals, bad teams, and they won the series against the Cubs, good team, especially because I think the Cubs have one of the best records.

Didn't they, don't they have one of the best records in baseball since like Augs First or something like that? I mean, they, they were on a, they were on a big hot stretch and the offense was hot before the Yankees came into town. So, yeah, you're, they ran into a team that had been playing very well., the no-hitter that came right before the series started as well.

So, yeah, they had some momentum, especially on the offensive side.

Oh, they pitched well all weekend.

It's not a – everybody pitched well.

Right. It's not a bad – it's not a bad team series win, for sure.

But again, that just goes to the point that it doesn't really matter who's in front of the Yankees at a given moment.

It's like they play, they, they shoot themselves in the foot or they don't.
