Isaiah chapter 26 verses 3 and 4.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind has stayed on you

because he trusts in you trust in the Lord forever

for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. These are some of my favorite verses not

just in the book of Isaiah but but in all the Bible. I think about these

verses all the time. I pray these verses over people all the time. what a beautiful picture.

Isaiah 26, verse 3, you keep him in perfect peace,

whose mind is stayed on you. How do you live with perfect peace in this world?

When you look around at all kinds of things in this world, when you see evil,

and sin, and all of its effects in the world, and when you walk through challenging days in your life and tumultuous days and trials,

how do you live with perfect peace?

And Isaiah 26 says it's possible when your mind is stayed on God and you trust in God.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind has stayed on you because he trusts in you.

That's the only way to have perfect peace in this world is to trust in the God who is sovereign over everything in this world

and who loves you and cares for you and is committed to providing for you, which is what I love about verse

for trust in the Lord forever, forever in all things no matter what happens

for all of eternity,

including today you can trust in God.

Why for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.

He's a rock that lasts forever. You can stand on forever through all things.

And so I just want to pray these verses over our lives.
