God is that being who is most perfect, and even though most perfect is kind of a redundancy,

nevertheless, the reason for that description is to underscore the majestic, superlative greatness

of the being of God that is totally full and integrated in its complete character and

that has nothing lacking in it.

Describing God is no easy task, ensuring that our language doesn't portray God as smaller

than he is, or unintentionally make us, his creatures bigger than we are.

Theologians have been very careful, even painstakingly so, to ensure that our descriptions

of God are faithful to what's been revealed in the Scriptures, and that's vital.
