part one and these are things that you might run into as your plant is getting to the point of setting fruit.

And so I've split these up into before fruit set and sort of after fruit set and

some other miscellaneous troubleshooting issues.

And so today we're talking with Jason, again from Boheck of Pepper Hut, really cool guy,

really knowledgeable guy, as I'm sure you know if you've been listening to the podcast

this week.

Jason on so today we're going to talk about what happens if your flowers are

dropping, what happens if your leaves are yellowing and a couple other issues, so

let's go ahead and get into the show. All right, we are back again with Jason and today we're going to talk about, this is going to

be the first episode about Pepper Problems because I kind of split this up into some problems that people are going to run into

before their plants start to set fruit and some problems that are going to happen afterwards.

And so if we can kick it off with problem one, which is what is going on if my leaves are turning yellow on my

pepper plant okay well mainly I would say that you need to apply a balanced fertilizer.

You're probably having some magnesium or sulfur efficiency.

I said, applying a balanced fertilizer, just a 555 or anything up to a 1010 that you can get at your basic home improvement store is going to help with that and just give it some

extra nutrients that the soil doesn't have.

Another main problem starting out that I experienced a lot is lack of nitrogen.

This is another nutrient that can cause major yellowing.
