the last sensible man left in the Labour Party with his view on what's going on out there.

Boris Johnson has been accused of bungling his speech yesterday

and failing

to show respect for the business community and the CBI. But did he really do that for accident?

I, for one, am not buying it. Because when you see Boris Johnson messing up to the tune of

150%, you know that he has planned every single second of that.

If you watch the Boris Johnson speech, and we'll play it out later on in this hour for you,

if you watch what he's doing, there is absolutely no way on earth, in my view, that he is not pausing for effect,

that he is not pretending to lose his place.

He looks like a man who has absolutely total and utter control over his own failings. He looks like a man who has decided to look as though he is bungling. And why?

Because everybody's talking about Boris Johnson this morning. Everybody's talking about what he did,

why he did it, how he shows no respect for the CBI, which by the way, I think he wanted them to know

as well. But also, nobody's talking about the social care problems, which we're going to talk

about on this show. I, for one, are not being thrown off the scent by Boris Johnson ruffling his

hair metaphorically and pretending to stand at Electron and not know what to say. This is a guy

who plans every single thing that he does to the final nth degree.
