Now this week for the first time in quite a while we actually got some good news

about the coronavirus pandemic. Trials carried out by the US

Pharmaceutical Giant Pfizer and the German manufacturer Bioentec suggest they have created a coronavirus vaccine which is more than 90% effective.

They've described it in their announcement as a great day for science and humanity.

Their vaccine is currently in the final stage, phase three, of the approval process.

It's being tested on 43,500 people in six countries, and so far it seems to be safe. Jonathan Van Tam one of
