interacted with the Quran. So we move on now to Suritil Bakara and there's a

very interesting hadith from Amurl Khata

of the Allahu al-Aah unhoo and

al-Rah al-Omah and ohm-Omar al-Tah al-Oah you know before Islam

he was a drinker actually many of the companions were drinkers and

al-I'm-Tab you know when he came back to Allah's

alah he sincerely wanted to make sure that he was leaving behind

anything you know that would be objectionable and anything that he had to you know that he had to do away with for the sake of

Allah and his messenger Salalah al-I was

and al-Mar used to sincerely ask Allah sibhana to clarify certain matters for

him and many of us know about the relationship

between Omar, Radhilah,

and certain verses of the Quran,

particularly the Ayataba alcohol.

But let's look at this narration in particular which is narrated

in sum nah tirm of the omar alma tahr. He used to make this d'uah. He used to say

Allahhma bayin nana of al-hamere. Oh Allah make this matter of chamur, of alcohol, intoxicants, make it as clear as it can be for us.

Give us clarity on this issue.
