Well, it's great to have all of you with us today, whether you're joining us in the room here at Buckhead Church,

or you're joining us at another campus or many of you are home today because we had a lot of campuses

in North Atlanta that were closed today. You may be joining us online or from somewhere else in the world.

We're thrilled to have all of you with us. Today we're concluding our series called Who Needs Church.

And it's been a minute.

I almost thought we weren't going to conclude this series, but it's been a minute. And I'm just going to warn you ahead of times as my kids tell me all the time. They're like, you need to lock in. They're like, dad, you need to lock in. So you're going to have to lock in today. We have a lot to cover as we're concluding this series. And since it's been a minute, I want to do a little bit of review, we began generally

with this idea or this statement that we all need church.

And in week one, Andy made the case from a lot of different aspects.

Some of it, for some of us, we don't need to be told that.

The church intervened for you.

Somebody showed up. Somebody cared for you. The church intervened for you. Somebody showed up.

Somebody cared for you.

Somebody dragged you away from something that was the wrong direction in life.

But maybe the church intervened for you.

For others of you, maybe the church was preventative.

Instead of interventive, it was preventative.

That was my story.

There were a lot of things that I feel like I escaped or missed out on in a good way in life because of the church and because of people that invested in me in the church.

And so for a lot of us, we don't need to be convinced. But beyond that, the truth is, is almost all credible historians would attribute the modern conception, our modern conception of humanity

to the church, because the churches has been the vehicle of the Christian ethic. And what we

believe today, you know, isn't always been seen as self-evident. In fact, once upon a time,
