Do people get a second chance to accept the Lord after they die?

That's what we're tackling another one.

It's the myth that people get a second chance after death.

As we look out at the world and we see people and we know how imperfect we all are,

we kind of wish that was the case that, hey, but here's the thing. Who wouldn't accept Christ

after they're dead and they see everything's real and they see things for what it is? But there are a

lot of people that hold to that. There have been a few books actually actually, even Christian books that I think highlight a near death or experience or something like that

where the person claims to have been seen Christ and given another chance to accept him and

then come back to life. So for those and other reasons, a lot of people have questions about

this. Something I think a lot of people is pretty common.

So that's what we're talking about today.

You know, you make a great point, Todd.

It's a real brilliant point because it touches on theology concerning this issue is that you take the average, all things being equal, okay,

the average person, the second after they die, if they either see God in his holiness and

his glory and what Christ did for them, or they see and perhaps even experience some of the

torment of hell, either one of those experiences, all things being equal,

that would motivate someone if they came back to say,

oh, I'm becoming a believer right now.

You know, I'm an absolute believer.

And then kind of the flip side of that coin is that then you take the depravity of the human heart

and you wonder if seeing God,
