Summary

What didn't Team Penske win this weekend in Phoenix? After David Malukas captured the pole and Josef Newgarden brought home first place honors in the IndyCar portion of the doubleheader, Joey Logano laid down the quickest lap and Ryan Blaney captured the win in the NASCAR Cup Series. Our resident NASCAR reporters Jeff Gluck and Jordan Bianchi were on the case, and they took to the airwaves post-race to unpack what ended up being a chaotic, tire-cutting affair in the desert.

wheel, is able to come back from two loose wheels, right? Well, before, old Phoenix with the old

1:36.3

package that really sucked and tires that were hard and all that stuff, that arrow problems,

1:41.6

I mean, he would have been, wherever he would have come out after his first

1:46.6

loose wheel, not even the second one, it's probably where he would have stayed for most of that

1:51.0

race, right? Like there was just a period of time in Phoenix with this next-gen car where there was

1:56.1

just really not a lot of passing going on, not very interesting.

2:05.2

And it's why the championship race, everybody called for the championship race to be moved.
