Here we go, great to have you with me once again. As you know by now I believe in

taking a holistic approach to financial planning. Basically looking at everything and not dealing with

individual parts of your finances in silos. Only this week I turned away a client who

wanted to talk to me about his 500,000-pound pension part, but nothing else.

Wouldn't allow me to talk to him about his other investments or, you know, all the rest of the stuff

that he had, but just about his pensions and what he should do with them and I just said

look I can't answer that I can't have a conversation with you about your

retirement benefits from your pensions without knowing all the other stuff so you know

it wasn't going to happen and if you're going to have a successful retirement, either one day or

fairly imminently, then all elements of your finances need to be working in concert. So today I want to talk

about how to compliment your pensions

with alternative sources of income in retirement, right? So that's where we're going

to not quite round off the season, that's next week, but we're looking at

alternatives to pensions. So after we've talked about that I'll go
