Yes, I know we did not have a normal show Sunday night. Therefore, we didn't have a normal podcast Monday morning. But that's not on me. Just like when the national championship game is on a Monday night and you don't like it. That's not on college football. That's on the NFL. Roger Goodell, yet again, refusing to move the AFC-NFC championship game from Sunday. Therefore, we had to bump our show, but that's okay because that just means we get to do this, which is podcast-only. It's a little more free-flowing, a little more mail baggy, and I got a lot to talk about. But, man, since you and I have not been able to speak, the first thing we got to do is address this bombshell, and yes, it was a bombshell. Don't believe the casuals hoops to say

otherwise. It was a bombshell that went off in the Big Ten. It's, you know, the flavor up there, all of a sudden feels a lot more cut throat, doesn't it? Jim Knowles to Penn State. Yeah, well, I am.

And I was kind of read in on what was happening here.

Everybody's surprised by it.

You're not surprised if you've been paying attention to the Internet over the past 72 hours, 96 hours.

Yeah, I know the rumors had been floating around, but

hit the rewind button two weeks. Hit the rewind button three weeks and ask yourself, at any point

in time, did you look at your buddy to the left or right if you're an Ohio state fan or a Penn State

fan and say, Jim Knowles, hmm, buck guys, hmm, en route to a national championship, it looks like,

he'll probably be in state college or Norman, Oklahoma, or whatnot next year.

No one knew that.

No one expected that.

So it's not trying to dampen the mood in state college by saying, yeah, big story,

but everyone knew it was coming.

So this is a big deal.

It's not some slam dunk game changer.

It doesn't guarantee Penn State anything.

What it does guarantee is they're all in,
