Just two weeks away from the Blue White game, Penn State set to take on Penn State as usual.

We're halfway through Spring Ball. I'm going to talk a lot of spring practice today.

You're going to talk a little recruiting to end it up. But Tyler, Penn State, I think eight practices

in as we record today and there's some good things going on.

Yeah and and coach Franklin feeling confident enough in certain guys to kind of open up a little bit during

the Wednesday media session.

I thought we got a lot of I shouldn't say a lot of clarity but we got our first

kind of semblance of clarity and some key positional battles and you know not

necessarily expecting that a week ago one weekend of practice but here they are at the midway point and

uh now this is kind of the time where you see guys hit their stride a little bit

and show what they worked on during the all season and what may lie ahead for them.

Well it's funny because if you listen to him and we're so skeptical about what coaches say because

coach speak is coach speak and you're not going to change a lot of the things he says but you

listen to actually you know for the most part what he says comes to fruition on the field.

So that's one thing that I picked up from Franklin is, you know, O'Brien really wasn't that way,

Paterno definitely wasn't that way, and it was just one of those things where you know a lot of what he

says comes true and if you listen to the right things and if you take into

account the right the way that he says them and I guess the the things that he

has said in the past that lead up to that, you could really take a lot from these situation, or these, excuse me, these congregations after the Wednesday practices.

So there's some good things, some guys jumping out early.
