Welcome back into the Lions 24-7 podcast. I am Tyler Donahue. He is Tyler Calvaruso, and yes, we are back after a two-week vacation break.

Put some things on pause here with the podcast. As we told you, we would earlier this month.

Back from Europe, had a wonderful time with my wife happy

to be back here and happy valley happy to be back with my four-year-old daughter who we missed a

bunch along the way certainly missed you too tyler calvarisso as we are into the end of may now

we've got some things to jump into a A few commitments happened while we were away from

this show. We're also going to be turning our focus forward because June figures to be a very

important month for Penn State football recruiting. Not only are we back on the Penn State

practice field to see a bunch of prospects in camp action first time under Matt Campbell and this

coaching staff's direction, but you're also going to have a lot of

official visits occurring here in State College across the college football landscape that are going to

be proved to be very important when it comes to how these 2027 classes come together across the

country. Penn State up to 20 commits, the number five class nationally

in our rankings at 24-7 sports. We're going to talk about some of those new pieces that have

come on board, particularly at quarterback. I know it may feel like a while ago that happened,

but we haven't had a chance to address it here on the podcast because of my time away.

And Tyler, I know you've been just waiting for me to get back on American Soil so we could do this episode. I know we have a lot to discuss. So thank you for being the guy to do that with us here on our return show. Yeah, no doubt. And it's fun to talk about it instead of putting pen to paper, banging out on the keyboard. So looking forward to it. It's going to be a fun episode. And we've got a lot to discuss. There's a lot coming down the pipe. And it's going to be a busy time of year for Penn State. They're looking to continue to add in that 27 class. They've done a really good job of doing so so far. Well, let's begin at the quarterback spot because last you and I sat down together and talked about

Penn State recruiting, it was a two-man conversation, Peter Bork and William Wood. There has been a

resolution on both of those recruitments here in the month of May. William Wood on board with

the Niddy Alliance. He is your 2027 quarterback commit filling that role in the class.

Before we get to Wood, and he's a guy that we had discussed quite a bit here on the podcast in past episodes, as Penn State extended an offer this spring, as Peter Bork's recruitment process, had some twists and turns involving the Nittany Lions.
