We are going to take you through a bunch of Penn State recruiting developments as they have begun to build out their 2027 class.

Of course, that process really did get underway last calendar year under James Franklin,

then following the coaching change. All those guys jumped ship. You understand why that happened.

And now Matt Campbell's starting to piece together his own 2027 class. And it could be building

steadily. We'll talk about a lot of dynamics that are in play, including current campus visits,

including some that are happening right now as we record on a Tuesday morning. I will actually

be over at Penn State facilities in a couple of hours alongside Mark Brennan and Daniel

Gallen. We'll have a short press conference with Matt Campbell, check in on how his first few

practices have gone this spring.

We'll then hear from a couple of position coaches, including Terry Smith and a variety

of different players.

Penn State got on the board over the weekend. We had coverage over on the site. Samaj

Robinson, South Florida defensive back announced his commitment on Saturday afternoon. He was

on campus this past weekend. And so I think the first

question has to become, how did the Nittney Lions get to the finish line with a long-distance

recruitment like this that involved a lot of different power conference programs on this

kid's table? Really, once Penn State offered in January, Robinson got took the stance of those offers didn't stack up to the Nittany Lions in really much of any capacity.

Terry Smith had a lot to do with that.

I think we talk about that often when it comes to quarterback recruiting.
