We're going to take a deep dive into Penn State football recruiting on this episode.

Daniel Gallen and I broke down what we witnessed, what we observed across the day in Beaver Stadium on Saturday afternoon for the blue-white event that closed out Penn State football spring practices.

15 spring practices in the book.

That was another long look for us.

We got some 11-on-11 action, some one-on-ones between defensive and offensive linemen, all of that for the first time from our viewpoint over the course of the last five weeks. So a lot of players in the spotlight, positions in the spotlight. It's not an episode you want to miss. So check that one out. It dropped on Monday. We'll put some bigger picture focus on this Penn State football

program next week. Talk about some guys who are on the rise coming out of spring ball and how that may

impact the depth chart. We'll also discuss guys returning from injuries as well because there's a

significant list of that. But as I said, to start things off, recruiting is in focus here.

Another commitment is in focus.

That came on Saturday leading up to the blue-white action.

And additionally, we've got some upcoming commitment announcements that are anticipated that could impact Penn State's 2027 recruiting class.

Now top 10 ranked nationally.

Got a couple crystal balls to sort through as well. And who better to do all of this with then Tyler Calvarez. So Tyler, welcome back to the program. Thanks for having me. Good to be back. You guys made it through the weather on Saturday. I did not have to deal with that fortunately. But it wasn't the biggest recruiting day for Penn State, but we still got planning to talk about.

You know, we're coming up on the contact period. We got the commitment on board, as you said, more good news potentially coming down the pipeline. Look, Matt Campbell and his staff, they're still in a spot to continue building in this class. And I think it's going to be a pretty solid class when it's all set in done with the way some things are coming together. You and I are going to get into some running back talks, some quarterback talks,

some defensive line discussion as well as we work our way through the recruiting conversation.

But we begin with focus on the offensive front, which added a commit on Saturday,

as I mentioned, about an hour and a half or so before Penn State was on the field

in Beaver Stadium, getting ready for its final spring practice.
