Well, we've all seen a few things bungled in our lives.

A lot of times we see it in sports.

We see coaches make mistakes, mismanage games at the end.

We see players make physical mistakes during a game and feel like, oh, they bungled that and it got away from them.

But rarely have we seen anything bungled that is quite the spectacle of the January 6th hearing committees,

the select subcommittee of hearings about January 6th.

And they capped it off apparently with their final get together this week, which nobody was

paying attention to. Remember, they put these things in the middle of the summer on prime time because

they thought, well, first of all, they had no programming. And they thought, well, Americans would

really like this and watch this and be into this, which they're not.

The country really does not care about Donald Trump right now.

The bottom line is there's so much going on, so much bad news, so much economic pain.

And Americans are dealing with so many other issues.

They don't give two flips about Donald Trump right now.

They may or may not care about him if he decides to run at some point next year and announces that and a campaign starts, then it becomes different. But right now, nobody honestly really cares about Donald Trump. They've done the Mar-a-Lago raid. They've done the January 6th hearings. They're trying to keep him negatively in the news. For what reason, of course, it's all just about politics, keeping him from running or beating

him if he does run. And so they've continued these January 6th things, which I've really avoided

on this podcast. But I can't avoid it now because it just at the end is completely bongled.

I mean, completely, there were no cross-examinations of any witnesses.

There was nobody from any other side.

It was all completely one-sided.
