When we last left you on impeachment news, the House had passed two articles of

0:04.4

impeachment against President Trump. That night back in mid-December, the

0:08.7

expectation was that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi would then appoint impeachment

0:12.8

managers and send the articles off to the Senate. It turns out that's not

0:16.8

exactly what happened. We're not sending it tonight because it's difficulty to

for three weeks. Then after weeks of this standoff between Pelosi and McConnell,

1:25.0

on Friday Pelosi announced that the House next week will finally consider a

1:29.4

resolution to appoint impeachment managers and send the articles to the Senate.

1:33.4

But of course, nothing is a sure thing until it happens. So must the House transmit

1:38.6

the articles at all and why has Pelosi held them thus far? What leverage for the

1:42.8

makeup of the Senate trial has been gained or lost by Democrats and Republicans and
