One only has to look at the pearl's resurgence, powered by the patronage of Harry Styles and Timothée Chalamet, to realise how surprising this gem is. So for her 1st episode of the 5th season, Carol talks to jeweller Chrissie Coleman Douglas about the origin and marketing of the pearl, while later she talks to Vogue contributing editor Jack Borkett about the pearl's place in the fashion world.
