Hello and welcome to the Great Albums podcast.

My name is Bill Lambusta.

As was recently pointed out to me, we never actually really say our names on the podcast, our last names on the podcast.

So I wanted to make sure to go out there and say my last name so that you all knew what it was and how to pronounce it.

And it's not a secret or anything.

We just, I don't know, Bill and Brian, that's all you really need to know.

As you may have noticed, Brian is not here with me right now. He is joining us in our conversation proper when we get to that in a minute with Jim Hankey. But he just was unavailable to help me

record this wrap around. So I'm just going to go ahead and do it myself. So, as I said before,

this is the Great Albums podcast. What we do here every week is take a different album of music

and talk about what makes it great. We try to have a conversation kind of the way that fans have

conversation or the kind of conversation that happens around being a fan. And then in order to do that,

we talk about what we like about the album, what makes it cool, how we got into it,

and our personal relationship with it, and then we get to a track-by-track review.

As I said earlier, we are going to be joined by Jim Hanky from the Vinyl Emergency Podcast in a few moments.

He joined us via Skype to come on and talk about Pearl Jam.

Some of you may remember Jim from our Foo Fighters episode where we did their first album back

in May, I think it was.

And it was really funny because it was just me and Jim on that episode, and he called in.
