Summary

The fight against cancer began around 1970, the year I was born. Culturally we’ve treated cancer like an insidious evil that is hunting us as a predator and we are its prey. It gets you or it doesn’t, you catch it or you don’t. Yet the science does not back this up. Do genetics contribute? 5-10% possibly. The main issue is what we are doing to our cells that is much the causation and reason for the continued growth. Now I realize that even the hint at us having any responsibility regarding cancer is a highly volatile premise. I’ve had family members with cancer. Who died from cancer. And I can’t guarantee I won’t get cancer. Regardless, this is not our opinion. Our very own National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) as a division of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) published "Cancer is a Preventable Disease that Requires Major Lifestyle Changes” and cites the highest percentage of causation is diet and specifically, inflammation.
