We're going to be talking about some industry news, namely, Bodie Miller announced this past Wednesday that Peak Skies is

back. And yeah, we have some thoughts about that. Then, Eric Helmbrecht, the owner of our recommended

shop, Powderhound Ski and Bike Shop in Girdwood, Alaska, joins me to first talk about that new, new gear.

We've had several new product announcements just this week and in the past several days.

And so I wanted to get Eric's thoughts on some of these things that we're hearing about.

Some will be coming out a little bit later this season, and some will be coming out next

season.

Then, Eric and I talk about several ski and snowboard products that are in line available

right now that Eric has been really impressed with, and he and I kind of share some of our reviews on some

things that are available now.

And then Eric and I kick off the Snowboard Edition of the Best Gear of the Century, and Eric is

going to be sharing his list for the top 10 most important developments in

snowboarding gear for the 21st century.

Okay, now I do need to mention that, uh, you might notice that my voice sounds kind of shot.

And that's because I was at that Bears Packers game last Saturday night,

and I think it's now unclear that my voice is ever going to recover and return to normal.

But to make matters worse, I'm actually going to be heading back to Chicago on Saturday,

and I will be at the Bears' next playoff game, which is this Sunday against the Rams.

So that means that my voice will probably be utterly destroyed forever, once and for all.
