That is as clear of a targeting call as you're ever going to get. A defenseless receiver getting hit with the crown of the helmet, helmet to helmet,

indisputable.

What the heck is targeting if that's not?

And the fact I'm watching this game.

And let's set this up before we get into all the details on this. Okay.

Had that targeting play had been called, had that targeting penalty had been called,

here's what would have happened. You would have had Arizona State with the ball down at the

Texas 37-yard line with a fresh set of downs with about a minute or so left in the clock and what,

one or two timeouts?

That's what would have happened.

They would have been in prime position to win this game at the end of regulation.

Of course, they couldn't.

But Stovall got crushed on that play.
