Last night, we got the debut of the chair company. Yes, we did. What a delight. I love it already. I love the show so much. And what made me, like, so I laughed throughout, but what gave me just like a big smile

was thinking of Tim Robinson and Zach Canaan pitching the show and then just telling the

people at HBO like what the premise was and then being like, fine.

Like, this is ridiculous, but fine. then being like fine like this is ridiculous but

fine there is like some like Seinfeld esk quality to it where it's not really about any i mean i know

there's like a plot but there's not really about anything to start you know yeah well it's definitely

one of these shows where there's like there's a lot going on and i'm sure there's going to be some

like big reveal later on but it's also just like all the interactions that he has are funny with his

co-workers his family whatever and his reaction to things like i can't even do it like his reaction

to like the like that email link like not working and he's like he puts his hands up like his eyes get

really big i can't even do it but just his reaction to stuff is so funny and like just

banal conversations about it's the very opening scene where they're at like dinner and he's

telling the waitress like she's like i don't

remember the last time i've been to a mall he goes yeah you do like this is kind of a mall and she's

like no it's not it's a restaurant he's like wow yeah that is great too it's like of all the things

you know to to be involved in like he makes malls you know in 20 25 he makes

malls like yeah designs them or whatever so yeah it's going to be eight episodes they're weekly

sunday night at 10 and uh i am looking forward to the whole thing so i think it ends at the end of

november so we'll do a standalone episode on the chair company.
