It's easy to live in peace with people who agree with you. But what do you do when someone opposes you on a crucial matter or disagrees with you in anger?

In today's podcast, we'll look at biblical principles that can help in our relationships as we cultivate peace with one another.

Would you consider the environment in which you live and which you work a peaceful environment?

Or would you have to say no? It is an environment of conflict.

There's contention. There's discord. there's anger, and sometimes hostility.

Well, if that's the kind of environment you live in, then it's not a happy environment.

And if it's not a happy environment, more than likely you're feeling hurt, and it could be

that you could feel harm and certainly heartbreak.

And the question is, why do we have to live like that? Why can't we have peace with each other?

Well, that's what I want to talk about in this message, and I want you to turn, if you will, to the book of Romans.

Because the Apostle Paul gives us some very clear instruction here that I think would be good for all of us to consider it this time.

And in this message, I'm talking about personal relationships.

I'm not talking about nations warring against each other.

I'm talking about personal relationships.

And in this 12th chapter of Romans, he is admonishing us how we are to treat one another.

And I want us to come down to this 17th verse and listen to what he says.

When he says, never pay back evil for evil to anyone, respect what is right in the sight of all men.

If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.

Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written.

Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.

But if your enemy is hungry, feed him.
