0:55.0 | And the question is, why do we have to live like that? Why can't we have peace with each other? |
1:01.0 | Well, that's what I want to talk about in this message, and I want you to turn, if you will, to the book of Romans. |
1:06.0 | Because the Apostle Paul gives us some very clear instruction here that I think would be good for all of us to consider it this time. |
1:14.1 | And in this message, I'm talking about personal relationships. |
1:17.8 | I'm not talking about nations warring against each other. |
1:21.1 | I'm talking about personal relationships. |
1:23.3 | And in this 12th chapter of Romans, he is admonishing us how we are to treat one another. |
1:28.2 | And I want us to come down to this 17th verse and listen to what he says. |
1:32.3 | When he says, never pay back evil for evil to anyone, respect what is right in the sight of all men. |
1:39.2 | If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. |
1:46.0 | Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written. |
1:51.7 | Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord. |
1:55.6 | But if your enemy is hungry, feed him. |
