Okay, Luke Chapter 2, we're going to read a little bit of the Christmas story.

The title of the message is, Peace on Your Earth.

Peace on your Earth.

Luke Chapter 2, beginning verse 8.

There were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields keeping watch over their

flock by night and behold an angel of the Lord stood before them and the glory of the Lord

shone around them and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, do not be afraid.

I know we read this many times but let's listen to it for behold

I will bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people

for there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord.

And this will be assigned to you. You will find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host

praising God and saying glory to God in the highest,

and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.

Now the main focus of the announcement of Jesus' birth was peace on earth. Here's what Jesus going to bring,

peace on earth. Here's my question though. Do you have, at the celebration of his birth, do you have

peace on your earth?

Let's think about this.

At Christmas time, are you going through a struggle?

Most of us still are.

Financial struggle, struggle with our health, struggle in marriage,

struggle with one of our children,
