The storm that disciples faced at sea did not take Jesus by surprise.

But if we want to keep our peace in the midst of our storms, we need to remember what God has promised to us now in the stillness.

I want to give you five words that spell peace.

And they all come out of this story. I want you to see what they are.

The very first word stands for peace. It is providence.

So I want you to put down the word providence and look in verse 22.

And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship and go before him to the other side.

Now the Lord Jesus Christ told them to get into that ship.

They were not in that ship because they were out of the will of God.
