Hello my incredible podcast family. RTK here, Real Talk Kim and I am excited to be back with you this week.

I'm a pastor right here in Atlanta, Georgia at Limitless Church and man I just love people back to life.

That's what I do and I'm honored to be with you today. Man, man, man listen.

This has been one heck of a year. We're in 2020. We were just entering into the last seven months of 2020.

And you know, I just remember coming into 2020 and being like, man, this is a new decade.

We're going to take it by force and I still believe that. I absolutely do.

The scripture that I gave our church and my RTK Intercircle, my mentorship program.

This year was Amos 913 through 15 that says God's decree says things are about to happen so fast that your head is about to spin.

Blessing upon blessing upon blessing you won't even be able to keep up. That's our scripture that we're standing on.

And even in light of all of the hell that a lot of us feel like we've gone through this year, I still believe that things are about to happen so fast that your head is going to swim.

And so you know, I'm a very, very, very positive person and man, I sometimes even question myself because I go through things and poof.

That do take me out for a day or two. Do knock me off my feet, literally lay in my bed and just have a meltdown.

But then I always find myself pulling myself back up and shifting my thinking to godly thoughts and what the word of God says over me.

You know, I have found that, you know, when you walk through a divorce, you can either let it make you bitter or you can let it make you better.

When you're walking through all this racism that we're seeing right now and this, God so much pain, so much pain and rightfully so we're going through so much right now, you can either allow the anger to get in your heart and eat you will eat you up really.

Because that's where the enemy gets us all is the enemy gets us in our minds six inches between your ears. He works on your mind.

He will, if you want to watch news every day, he will make sure you watch the worst news that you can see and then Fox, whatever your local news and he'll make sure that every horrific story and doom and gloom is going to come in your ears so that you lay awake all night long, stressing and worrying.

He is going to make sure that you think yourself as a failure when that marriage don't work or a horrible mom or dad when that marriage doesn't work or feel like you're not doing enough for the riots or, you know, the pain in the world just will get down on yourself almost because you feel like there's more that you could be doing.

And people that are very close to you are hurting and you try to understand and you try to be there and you try to do what's right, but the enemy will literally have you feeling like you are a piece of scum and you're not doing enough.
