And the first thing we're gonna talk about today is we had Kristen Bell in the news for a situation I don't think should be news, but because of some people it is.

There are reports that came out like this one from BuzzFeed reading.

Kristen Bell revealed she smokes weed around Dax Shepherd even though he's sober. If you don't know, they're a couple, they have kids together. Something I wasn't aware of before this story is

Dax Shepherd is 14 years sober. And when speaking on the Mark Maren podcast, Kristen Bell said,

I smoke around my husband, it doesn't seem to bother him, weed rules, saying I can't do it

around my kids, which is a phenomenal amount of hours each week. But then adding, once a week, if I'm just exhausted and we're about to sit down and watch 60 minutes, why not?

And on Dax Shepherd's relationship with drugs, she said, he lost his privilege with them because he can't handle it.

His brain doesn't have the chemistry to handle it. And saying that he doesn't mind, in fact, Dax saying that she should host an ecstasy party at their home where he could act as the sober guide. Also saying Dax told her she shouldn't leave this earth without having tried mushrooms or ecstasy. And following this, because of course everyone has an opinion about

everything, there were people that were not really happy about this. Some people saying that she was

horrible for doing this in front of him. People saying, don't you realize you're making his struggle

even harder? Some internet users specifically calling it slimy and selfish. Some doing what a good

portion of the internet always loves to do, and that is mommy shames.

I'm writing, hope her children are being cared for while she's busy doing drugs.

And it's actually that note that I'll start on to, to anyone out there that would

mommy shame Kristen Bell or any other mother because they, they smoke wheat.

And as was explained in the podcast that people were apparently up in arms about, She doesn't do it around her kids. One, go fuck yourself, and two, double go fuck yourself if you're also someone that's like,

I don't drink, but I have a little glass of wine at night.

These children have two parents, and I don't know their specific living situation,

but maybe there's family, there's a nanny, there's a whatever.

And it appears that during those moments where she engages in the devil's lettuce. But it appears that there is a 100% sober parent,

which, by the way, just because you smoke marijuana or vaid, it doesn't mean that person's doing

...
