0:06.5	And the first thing we're to talk about today, I was kind of surprised we saw Soul Cycle and Equinox in the news.
0:11.0	And for those unfamiliar, soul cycle, well, they describe themselves as, way more than a workout, it's a sanctuary.
0:17.0	Which, given where the story goes, that's kind of funny.
0:19.0	Yeah, it's a place people work out by spinning like crazy.
0:22.3	And Equinox is the high-end gym that, I think the price range for a membership for a single
0:26.8	location can be like anywhere from $185, all the way to $500.
0:30.7	For the sake of transparency, my wife and I used to be members of Equinox, but we stopped
0:34.9	going for non-political reasons.
0:36.6	We just realized, holy hell, that's way too much money.
0:38.8	Let's literally take the money that it would cost for a year and just make a gym ourselves,
0:42.6	and that's what we did.
0:43.3	The main point here, this all starts with the Washington Post report related to Stephen
0:46.5	Ross, a real estate investor who is a chairman and majority owner of related companies,
0:50.4	which owns Equinox and Soul Cycle. He's also the owner of the Miami Dolphin. And the Post said that Ross would be hosting a major fundraiser event for Donald Trump in the Hamptons.
0:58.0	An event where certain tickets could be as high as $250,000.
1:01.0	Reportedly at that price, you would get lunch, a photo with Trump, and a chance to participate in a roundtable discussion with him. The report came out on Tuesday, but it just blew up yesterday when members of those gyms were reportedly upset to learn that the owner was hosting an event for Trump. With some
1:14.1	saying they were extremely frustrated because Equinox prides itself on being LGBTQ plus friendly
1:18.5	and even having a presence at some pride braids throughout the country. And so we all of a sudden
