We have to talk about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.

Very likely, you've already seen the video of the shooting.

I'm not going to show it again here because YouTube will suppress this video and there's a lot

of really important stuff we need to touch on.

Right this happening to the former president of the United States, possibly our next one as

well at a rally in Pennsylvania.

The men after the shooter was down, standing up triumphantly blood running down his face,

raising a fist to the crowd and and saying, fight, fight,

fight with a crowd then erupting in USA Chance. And while all of that happened on Saturday, there

is still so much we have to talk about with this. I mean, we have everything we now know about the

attack, about the man behind it, also what we don't know. And then of course, there's all this

discourse that's been triggered about the Secret service, political violence, conspiracy theories, and, you know, just the fate of American democracy as we know it. But to properly get to all those places, we need to start with the basics. Or with the first thing to note being that while a bullet just grazed Donald Trump's ear, one rally goer was actually killed and two others were critically injured. With a man killed being a former fire chief and father of two

who reportedly spent his final moments diving down

in front of his family, protecting them from gunfire.

With of course many left and right,

sending love, thoughts, and prayers to his family.

Including the likes of VP Harris, who said,

to the family of Corey Comparator,

who was tragically killed at former President Trump's rally. He was a husband, father, and firefighter who was shielding his family from

gunfire. Our hearts break for this loss from yesterday's abhorrent violence. Though this also,
