0:13.0	Bella Hadid is racist was trending on Twitter this week.
0:15.8	Bela Hadid of course a very popular and successful model and as far as why people were
0:20.0	saying that she was racist it was because she posted this photo to her
0:23.8	Instagram story and if you are confused at this point so is I personally I look at that
0:28.1	photo and I go oh she got new shoes she's about to board another plane
0:31.6	because she's an international supermodel.
0:33.7	But no, apparently a huge chunk of people were offended by this photo that had people saying
0:38.8	what Bella Hadid did is just unacceptable.
0:40.8	Bella Hadid spreads hate was that if you look really closely the heel of her
0:45.0	shoe in the photo it's pointed towards planes in the distance that were Saudi Arabian
0:49.4	and Emirates aircraft which in certain cultures if you display the soul of your shoe towards someone,
0:54.7	it's like the ultimate insult and it's like that thing or that person, it's beneath dirt.
0:59.6	And since this, not only did she face backlash, not only did people trend
1:03.0	Bella Hadid is racist but people have started adding
1:05.8	brands that she works with demanding that they remove her.
1:08.4	Also following all of this, Bella Hadid has apologized in English and Arabic
