0:14.0	the first thing we're to talk about today is a viewer requested story and that
0:16.7	involves the updates to the YouTube situation regarding the mass disabling of
0:20.2	comments across the platform if you don't recall there was a big controversy around YouTube comment section
0:24.3	specifically focused on videos featuring children.
0:26.7	When you're on YouTube you could find certain videos where it was just very obvious that there
0:30.0	were predators in the comments.
0:31.3	I'm going to kind of oversimplify this part,
0:33.0	but there are people, and there are whole campaigns
0:35.0	meant to raise awareness around the situation.
0:37.4	Some people use that as a situation
0:39.2	to then seemingly attack YouTube by targeting advertisers.
0:42.4	YouTube was hit with a wave of backlash, some from consumers,
0:45.3	some from advertisers, they then made a big move themselves.
0:48.0	There were a good number of YouTube accounts that were reported to the authorities, shut down,
0:51.5	you had people with their ads getting removed off of
0:53.6	videos and then of course we saw them closed down comment sections on millions of
