0:23.5	Music Group and Spotify of scheming to artificially inflate streams of Kendrick Lamar's,

0:28.3	Which, when I first saw this news, I was like, that was your problem with the song, Drake?
0:31.8	Did you listen to the lyrics of what he said about you?
0:34.5	But there is an update on that front that we'll get to. Because yesterday, when this petition was filed in New York,
0:39.0	it said, UMG did not rely on chance
0:41.2	or even ordinary business practices
0:43.3	to break through the noise on Spotify
0:45.1	and likely other music platform.
0:46.8	Saying instead, it launched a campaign
0:48.6	to manipulate and saturate the streaming services
0:50.7	and airwaves with a song not like us
0:52.7	in order to make that song go viral.
0:58.7	And specifically, accusing UMG of charging Spotify lower licensing rates for the song in exchange for the platform recommending it to users who were searching for unrelated tracks and artists.
1:02.5	Also claiming that UMG conspired with and paid unknown parties to use bots to artificially
1:06.8	up the spread of not like us and make it appear more popular than it really was. And then on top of all of that, Drake's lawyers also claim that they have received information
1:13.9	that UMG has been taking steps in an apparent effort to conceal its schemes, including,
1:17.9	but not limited to, by terminating employees associated with or perceived as having loyalty
1:22.0	to Drake. Right. And with this news, it's not surprising that something's happening. Obviously, Drake was it not gonna be a fan of that song?
