Summary

In this episode of The President's Daily Brief: Russian drones have reportedly struck a NATO country, injuring civilians in Romania and raising new questions about how the alliance will respond. We break down the incident, Romania's consideration of NATO Article 4 consultations, and whether Moscow is testing the limits of the alliance. One of the Cuban pilots named in last week's indictment of Raúl Castro has now been sentenced in the United States on separate immigration fraud charges. We examine why the case matters, how it connects to the 1996 Brothers to the Rescue shootdown, and what comes next for federal prosecutors.
