1:04.9	Something unusual is happening just off the coast of Cuba.
1:08.0	Over the past several weeks, U.S. military reconnaissance flights have surged
1:12.0	around the island in a way that we haven't seen publicly before, and the aircraft involved
1:17.1	are not your average patrol planes. These are some of America's premier surveillance and
1:22.2	intel-gathering platforms, the same kind of assets the Pentagon used ahead of operations involving Venezuela and Iran.
1:30.3	According to a new CNN analysis, a publicly available flight tracking data, the U.S. Navy and Air Force have conducted at least 25 intelligence gathering flights near Cuba since early February.
1:42.6	Most of those missions were concentrated around Havana and Santiago
1:46.2	de Cuba, those are the country's two largest cities, with some aircraft reportedly flying within
1:50.9	roughly 40 miles of the coastline. Now, officially, the Pentagon is staying quiet, as you might imagine.
