And we are doing something today that we would normally probably do on our Patreon.

So this is almost kind of a, I don't know, not exactly a Patreon-supported episode

network, but it's kind of a what you might get from a Patreon hangout episode kind of episode,

right?

Yeah, we are doing our top 10 films of the year, something we don't normally do.

Usually we spend more time on our discoveries. We're going to make our discoveries our January episode this year. And I've, at least for me, part of it is it's been, I think, a fantastic year in film. And I think some years aren't, you know, a couple years sometimes aren't and maybe you don't have as much to discuss some years. I think this year there's been overflow and I still haven't seen all the films this year.

So I think it's, A, worth it.

I think one of the reasons maybe we don't normally, we aren't as much a new film show as I do think

that our reactions to new films can't be trusted.

You know what I mean?

Probably like anyone's reactions to new films can't be trusted. You know what I mean? Like, probably like anyone's reactions to new films.

There's a lot of great movies that are derided when they come out and then become great

cult films and some that we get real excited about.

And by the time the Oscars roll around,

you're like,

oh, God,

I hate that thing now.

Everyone likes it.

You know, general we maybe don't go as deep on new films, even though we both watch a lot of new films in our own time. We usually do save that for our Patreon hangouts, and I think it's a good way

to wrap up this year and maybe put a few of the ones that are lesser known on people's
