Another knock on podcast with the man, the myth, the legend, and honestly, one of the ones

who paved the way for me to start knock on, I guess.

We need to talk about that story a little bit, Jared.

But Jared Lyle, everybody now with Hunt and Fool.

But previously with Trophy Taker, which is how we met, which would have been 20 years ago, dude.

At least.

Yeah.

Well, for me, actually, like, working for you, yeah, it would have been, you know yeah it would have been you know it it would have been uh it would

have been 20 years ago 2006 and uh i guess just give everyone a little background what happened was

um i had made a decision to go out on my own and leave Matthews and honestly was kind of flipped head over heels.

Didn't know if that was a tremendously stupid decision, but needless to say, it was a decision.

And then Jerry Carter happened to call me within a couple minutes of that choice being made

and I kind of said I have no idea what I'm going to do. You know, Matthews was my life and then

he asked if I would, you know, be willing to help April and him out with doing the same things

that I had done while I was at Matthews.

And then, I don't know, it was maybe 20 minutes later, you called me and said,

hey, I talked to Jerry Carter and he said you were going to be helping, you know, be a liaison.

And, and yeah, I was like, heck yeah, I'll work for trophy taker too.

So I was shooting one already at the time.

So, yeah, it was, it was, and then you told somebody else, I think Slinkard called me after that,
