Knock-On. My name is Mark Shenker. I am the bass player for Kicks. I am a photographer, a traveler.

And I also have worked at times in the IT world. So I've been a computer guy for, I don't know, 30 years now I guess,

since before Ethernet, before the internet. So that's what I did in my regular job when music never paid.

And a beginning, beginner Giu-Jitsu I'd say?

Well I'm a one-stripe blue belt in our school.

Oh dang.

I know, I have. Well I did put, when I got my one stripe from Coach John Allen Perry shout out to my boy there.

He's our black belt that we roll with quite a bit. He's awesome. And he's giving me all my, he gave me my blue belt and all my stripes

about one stripe when I was a white belt. And he's just awesome. And I just got it what maybe a month and a half ago.

I just got my first, first stripe on my blue belt. So it was, it was nice. And it's, you know, earning stripes is hard, you know.

It's hard work.

And so when you get one, it's like, you know, you get this, this, this rush of emotion. It's like, man, I actually, you know, I earned this.

You know, I actually worked hard for this and busted my fingers up for this and, you know, got somebody's knee and my orbital bone for this.
