Hey hey hey everybody! Welcome back. Another Knock-On Podcast. I just showed my buddy Andy Stumpfier my piezo.

0:36.0

First time I've ever seen another man's piezo. Yeah, that's my podcast app. I have no idea how I even got it. I just know that's how I've got it and that's what I roll with.

0:49.0

So we're two guys that podcast two different ways and they're both beautiful. Good. I agree. I'm going to be researching this app a little bit later.

1:01.0

Dude, it's pretty surreal having here. Not gonna lie. Because I'm a... I was never military but it's almost one of the...

1:13.0

It's one of the things that I really look back and think I almost feel like that would have been something that would have been... that would have fit my personality.

1:25.0

From what I know of you and spending the last day and a half with you, your attention to detail and the way that you are oriented, like we were talking about earlier today being task...

1:37.0

Because I'm the same way when you were talking about... I describe it as struggling with idle time. It's kind of the same thing you were talking about. I do great when it's like a stacked week or a stacked day.

1:49.0

If you remove that from me, I go a little bit sterk raising inside of my own skin. But the same things that make you good at archery and got you to where you are would serve you so well in the military. It's the same stuff just applied elsewhere.

2:01.0

Well, and I like that. It's funny because when Sharon and I were going through immigration process for her, you know, you're not on your own schedule.

2:13.0

You're on someone else's schedule. And it gets to the point where they kind of give you a heads up of, okay, pretty soon you're gonna be forced with having to move from England within 30 days.

2:25.0

It might have been 60, but it was like 30 or 60 days. And then once you're in the US, you have, I think, 60 days or so to actually marry. So we're on this like... stand by pattern.

2:37.0

Like a two-month or...?

2:39.0

Yeah. Well, it was a nine-month window of having two months like move out of a house, move the country, like move, and then move back, you know, as this deal.

2:50.0

So I was in this pattern of just flying, literally flying circles around England where I'd be there 30 days. Then I'd be home 30, there 30, home 30.

3:02.0

And it got really difficult because I couldn't really plan events either. I couldn't plan tournaments because I couldn't commit to them.

3:09.0

And in case you got the call?

3:11.0

Yeah. In case you get the call. So it was like arguably one of the most miserable times for me.

3:18.0

Because I did not have anything to prep for. I had nothing to... I had no tournaments to plan for. I didn't have things with work that were deadlines or a T.A. show coming up or dealer school.

3:38.0

Or I didn't have any of that. And I was like going crazy. And finally I was at this local... it was kind of their version of a YMCA.
