Hey everybody, welcome back to another Knock-On Podcast. I'm super pumped for this podcast. It is 103 and amazingly enough it's the 3-year anniversary of the podcast. I'm super jacked and I'm super appreciative and super thankful that I've got my good buddy Joe Rogan.

Him and I have almost been archery pals for almost a year now and I believe he's in his third or fourth year now to be really serious about bow hunting. He's done so much for the community, become a great friend, a good hunting buddy.

I couldn't think of a better person to have on. Joe's got a monumental week for his podcast. I think this week I don't know if he's announced it yet so I can't announce what's going on with his podcast numbers. But anyway, I'm going to jump into a phone call right now with my good buddy Joe Rogan. Hope you enjoy it.

Actually, since you're playing pool, that's kind of funny because I posted.

I posted on there if anyone had any topics they wanted us to talk about to let me know and one of the topics was someone really wanted to know exactly how you got into archery. And if you've like totally given up your.

Lost you there for a second. Oh, sorry. Hopefully that doesn't happen. Is it connected? No, can you? Yeah, I hope not. How exactly I got it. I hear you now. You got me. Yeah, I got you perfect. Yeah, how you got into archery.

And if you're going to totally substitute archery for pool entirely.

Not entirely, but it's it's severely diminished my appetite for pool.

But I got into archery actually a long time ago I bought a bow because it was just me and my wife and my daughter were just thinking, hey, maybe it would be fun to try out archery.

So we all got bows and I shot mine for like a week and just had no idea what I was doing and didn't really get a lot of help.

And then I left it alone for a long time. Then I decided to try it again one day and I went out and I bought a bow tech experience.

And I went to a shop and I got it fitted just totally on a whim. And I think I think this was before I had ever hunted.

I haven't done a rifle hunting yet. Man, maybe I did. Maybe I did. It's hard to remember. I don't think I did. I think it was before I'd done it.

And I just started to do something cool to learn. So I got a good bow and I started practicing in the backyard.

Didn't know what the hell I was doing obviously. And then I met camhain. Camhain brought me a hoi and then he took me out in my yard and I had some targets already set up.

And when he was trying to instruct me and show me a little bit and I got deeper into it then.

And it was just one of those things that once it really stuck, once I really got hooked, then I was off to the races.
