0:49.4	I mean, this has become a debt-laden society, and most of those debts are not even being paid on.
0:53.8	I want to talk to you today, not about a financial debt, so relax. I want to talk to you today about a spiritual debt and paying your debt.

0:59.5	I'm not talking about in money.
1:01.2	What do you owe to the Lord?
1:03.9	What do you owe to those around you?
1:07.3	You see, that's one of the emphases in this little note to a friend when Paul wrote to Philemon.
1:13.4	Lots of people owe.
1:14.9	For example, in verse 18, Onesimus owed.
1:18.0	He owed Philemon.
1:19.6	But in verse 19, Paul said to Philemon, you owe me.
1:24.6	In Romans chapter 1, the apostle Paul said he was a debtor. He owed the gospel to
1:29.3	others because it had been given to him. It's interesting here in the book of Philemon.
1:35.0	In verse 18, there's a debt you can't pay. That's the debt of your sin. And in verse 19,
1:40.6	there's a debt you're supposed to pay, and that is the debt of love.
1:46.1	I'm thinking now of the psalmist words when he said, pay that which I have vowed
