You damn right here he is. Welcome to Not Sam Wrestling. Happy Monday. What a way to start the week. What a way to end the week and last night, huh?

Doesn't it make you feel good? First of all, I want to pay per view ends at 9.30 East Coast time. That will never not make me feel good. I feel great when that happens.

But I feel even better when it ends in a way that just puts me in a good mood. I've said this many times. That's how I know that I'm obsessed with wrestling.

That's why, you know, look, it's tough when you're an adult and you're married and you have to go to your person. I love you, but you're not my first love.

You can't go back and become my first love. It can never happen. You know, and that's a conversation I had to have with my wife. Look, I love you to have it to hold in sickness and in health.

But my first love is professional wrestling and that's, you know, I fell in love when I was a young, when I was a very young man. She was like, that's cool. That's alright with me. Sometimes it's okay. I was like, I appreciate you. I appreciate you.

Other times it's not okay. She said, and I said, we don't talk about those times. We only talk about the good times. But the way we know that we're obsessed is the way we react. The way I react. I've told you before, man.

I go to bed in a bad mood when wrestling is bad. Specifically, when wrestling doesn't have to be bad. When something happens and I'm like, oh, this could be cool. And it's just not cool. And then happens a lot.

I go to bed in a bad mood. It puts me. It makes me a worse person. But when something happens on wrestling that's good.

Oh, I'm the best Sam Roberts that I can possibly be. And today I come to you post payback. The best Sam Roberts that I could possibly possibly be in the very beginning, I suppose of 2015.

I can't believe we've been doing this podcast for like five years. I think it was 2015 though. It's like episode 14 of what was then Sam Roberts wrestling podcast now not Sam wrestling.

Roman Reigns was on the show. It was a phone interview that I did with him. Brief 15 minutes. And it was taped right before his real rumble win in Philly. And he came across like a real dude.

But not like a good guy wrestler. It was the it made news. It was the first Sam Roberts wrestling podcast not Sam wrestling podcast that did over a hundred thousand downloads.

It was a big deal at the time. And I'll never forget Reddit squared circle on Reddit. Having the conversation. I mean, do you think we all know Sam Roberts is bought and paid for little did they know episode 14.

I wasn't even close to bought and paid for yet. I wouldn't be bought and paid for for another couple of years. But even back then that's why I don't get offended now when people think that I'm bought and paid for because I thought I was bought and paid for even before I was now at least I actually am.
