Summary

It’s been a century since the 40-hour work week was adopted, and decades since wifi has appeared on the scene. Despite countless new technologies fundamentally changing how we can work, many work practices have remained the same. COVID sent a shock into that system and many are left debating what the future of work holds. So in this episode, we speak with Alex Bouaziz, Darren Murph, and Sondre Rasch about the many ways companies are now being forced to adapt. Will companies shift toward more asynchronous work? How will a distributed model shift the way we hire? How will companies attract top talent, and is remote the only benefit that matters? 0:50.0	And in the centuries to come, we saw work reinvented many times over with perhaps the most well-known
0:54.9	iteration of that, the 40-hour work week by Ford Motors in 1926.
0:59.6	And then came the cubicle that was in 1968.

1:04.3	until the 80s when we saw the internet appear on the scene and Wi-Fi released in 1997 forever
1:09.6	changing the way that people work and live. And since then, many companies continue to adopt the practices from the 20th century,
