Hello my friends welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you're ready to get

your mind aligned with the truth of God. Hey I want to give a quick shout out to a

morning mindset listener and partner Charlie

Thorne who gave me the inspiration for today's episode of the morning

mindset. You may notice that it's called Pay the Man and Charlie brought this up in a discussion group we have going on inside

of the Morning Mindset Facebook community. I would encourage you to join us there and

phrase pay the man placed on a t-shirt that he uses many times when he's working out and it's a

reminder to him of truths like we're going to look at today so let's look at

it in Romans chapter 8 verse number 12 the apostle Paul says so then

brothers and sisters he would say today we are debtors not to the flesh to live

according to the flesh for if you live according to the flesh to live according to the flesh for if you live according to the

flesh you will die but if by the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body

you will live.

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons and daughters of God.

Now friends, think this through for a moment.

Charlie's phrase, Pay the Man, is pointing to this concept of debt.

We are debtors, but it's not to the flesh.

It's to God himself through the power of his Holy Spirit you see because if we live according to the flesh

Paul says we're going to die, but we are now indebted to God because of the grace he's

given to us to live according to the spirit.
