The authors talk about how to declutter your desk and declutter your calendar

in order to achieve more satisfaction. In years of writing about time

management I've learned that it is incredibly important to leave open space.

Stuff comes up. Plus we all need time to think.

But it's really hard to say no to things,

especially things that happen far in the future.

We can't really claim to be busy on some random Wednesday next November.

So the tendency is to say yes and then kick ourselves later.
